A westbound double-stack container train crosses the railway's bridge over the Colorado River. The head end being in California while the tail end is still in Arizona as the state line lies at the center of the river. The Interstate Highway 40 bridge, with the two semi's, lies immediately to the south. The white bridge currently carries a Texas to San Francisco gas line but originally carried Route 66 over the river before I-40 was built. Topock is located on the opposite side of the river.
