The camera is located in a car looking out the side window eastwards down Lewis Avenue in Ash Fork at the tall steel water tank put there by the Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe Railway. The construction of the Crookton Cutoff virtually killed the town. One person online describes Ash Fork this way:  "Ash Fork has no police, a limited fire department, no hospital, no stores, and no goods. It's just a couple of blocks long, looks like Beirut after an attack, and almost everyone owns a handgun.".
