Here's a change from the typical stack trains seen on the Seligman Sub. This would be an empty ethanol tank train heading back east for another fill up. Ethanol is moved from several eastern plants to Los Angeles where it is mixed with gasoline to be sold in California. Notice the two buffer cars behind the head-end locomotives. If there are DP units on the tail-end they would also be protected by buffer cars. In Canada explosive tank trains such as these are called "bomb trains" for good reason.
