Denver & Rio Grande Western (D&RGW) standard gauge 2-8-0 Consolidation class C-28 number 683 was built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1890 and is the only surviving standard gauge D&RGW locomotive. In 1947 it was sold to the Southern San Luis Valley Railway (SSLV) then acquired by the Colorado Railroad Museum in 1962.
