This is the Brienz Rothorn Bahn (BRB) base station located in Brienz along the Hauptstrasse (high street). It's just a short walk from either the steamship jetty or the Die Zentalbahn depot. Holders of a Swiss rail pass will find it valid on the DZB, ships that ply the Brienzersee (Lake Brienz), and local bus transport (Die Post). In addition pass holders receive a 50 percent discount on the BRB fare. With that discount a return fare to Planalp is CHF17.50 (C$23.16) during 2015.
