With Chiggen stopped beside the Restoration Center volunteers swarm over the engine to check it over and fill the saddle tank with water. During Railroad Days the train initially departs from Snoqualmie, backs to North Bend, then reverses direction returning here and then Snoqualmie Depot before reaching Snoqualmie Falls. From there it reverses once again before finally stopping at the Snoqualmie Depot. For each of these repetitions water must be taken here at the Restoration Center.
