The top photo shows a Panorama Train at Grund station. Notice the switch position indicator light > and the actual position of the points. Also, notice the bellcrank and rod leading away from the points toward the frog. Another bellcrank near the frog changes the rod motion 90 degrees so the position of each rack conforms to the switch points movement. The tracks curving to the left lead up the hill to Grindelwald. The Depot und Werkstätte may be seen on the left in the distance.
 
The lower photo shows a similar switch located on the Schynige Platte Bahn (SPB) to give you a better idea how each rack section moves near the frog.
