Zermatt is internal-combustion-vehicle-free. The Matterhorn Terminal, 5 kilometres north of Zermatt, has 2,100 covered parking spaces at Täsch where cars may be left before boarding an MGB shuttle train to Zermatt. Upon arrival in Zermatt these electric taxi's, electric busses, bicycle's, or your two feet provide transport around town.
