From Ropley Station cross the footbridge to platform 1, follow the path east to the Handyside footbridge, cross over and you will find the entrance to the interior viewing platform of the Carriage Works. The wood frame carriage on the right must be one of the two rare Bulleid wooden framed carriages currently undergoing restoration for use with Number 35005, Merchant Navy Class Canadian Pacific, thanks to a £895,000 Lottery Fund Grant thank you very much.
