Now known as the Station Restaurant this is the original railway station constructed on the jetty at Dartmouth before any tracks even reached this far. Due to a dispute with the Admiralty and local landowners the railway was forbidden from building a bridge over the River Dart near Greenway in its original plan to reach Dartmouth. Instead the railway laid track along the east side of the river into Kingswear and initiated a ferry connection across to Dartmouth.
