Up until 1990 Hunts Crossing was the end of the line for the railway. The train doesn't stop here anymore. How many times have you heard that before? There was a plan to extend the railway from its present end-of-track at New Mills to Egloskerry, more than double its current length, but that plan fell through in 2014 unfortunately.
