Lynton Devon United Kingdom - The Princess Royal has been visiting Lynton and Lynmouth's cliff railway to mark its 125th anniversary.
 
School children lined the route as Princess Anne was given a guided tour.
 
She also met descendants of the original engineer who came up with the mechanism that runs the railway.
 
Tourists have been able to ride the train for free today as part of the celebrations.
