A 600 millimetre (23.6 inches) narrow gauge railway 22 kilometres in length once delivered lumber from the Feistritzwald for trans-loading here to the Südbahn at Steinhaus station until it was closed in 1958. One of the narrow gauge lumber cars is visible just below the viaduct. Learn more about the forest railway in this link.
