This rather large station is the Breitenstein Bahnhof which serves a population of just 350 residents. The station is located in a valley located at the foot of the Kreuzberges, elevation 1,082 metres. The two tracks have an uncovered platform, long enough to accommodate regional trains. In the past the station was used as a water supply point for steam locomotives.
