Graz Austria - With today's government decision, the state of Styria sells its ownership of the Feistritztalbahn from Weiz to Birkfeld.
"A contribution of €235,000 for the repair of the railway system has finally given a green light to a successful further development of this tour company", said Jörg Leichtfried, Councilor for Transport.
The Feistritztalbahn is a 24 kilometer long narrow gauge line from Weiz to Birkfeld, which was the property of the Steiermärkischen Landesbahnen and thus the state of Styria.
