CP Station Purchase a Good Idea

"City buying old CP station" is positive news and the city council is to be congratulated for taking this initiative.
The station has always appeared as a key property to the history and the future of Owen Sound.
It acts as a counterpart to the other railway station on the west side of the harbour, which over many years has been a tourist
destination.
The juxtaposition of the advanced building techniques for the Grey Bruce Health Unit and the earlier modernist architecture of the
CP station make a wonderful contrast of our histories past and present for the east side of the city.
I will look forward to seeing how this important building evolves.
