Evacuation Lifted in Canmore
Canmore Alberta - An evacuation after a train derailment
in Canmore has been lifted as of the noon hour Monday.
Everyone who were evacuated following the derailment of eight railcars in Canmore have been permitted to return to their hotels,
businesses and school.
The derailment happened around 6:45 a.m.
CP Rail authorities have advised that there is no danger from the upset railcars and they will now be removing the damaged railcars
from the track area.
One rail car contained glycol and a very minimal amount was leaked. There were no injuries to anyone in this
incident.
