Train Cars Derailed Near East Hawk Lake
East Hawk Lake Ontario - Canadian Pacific Railway is
investigating the derailment of two dozen rail cars near East Hawk Lake Sunday night.
The container cars left the tracks shortly before midnight, about 60 kilometres east of Kenora.
No injuries were reported and no environmental impact has been noted, according to Canadian Pacific spokesperson Breanne Feigel.
Crews are currently working to repair damaged cars and tracks. It is still unclear when the track between Kenora and Vermilion Bay
will re-open.
