2860 at Southern Railway of BC
Vancouver British Columbia - I drove past the
Southern Railway (SRY) shops tonight (Sunday, 26 Apr 2009.) and 2860 was there facing west down the Marpole line.
It went through New Westminster around 15:00 and over to Thornton yard where it turned on the loop and came back over to the SRY.
According to the write up it will be facing East for the trips this weekend paired with the A unit facing west with SRY power on the
rear of the train
for assistance up Kennedy hill and switching the train at Cloverdale.
The special excursion will take place Saturday and Sunday, 2 and 3 May 2009 between New Westminster and Cloverdale,
B.C.
