The Pacific Wilderness Railway's terminus after leaving Victoria was located at E&N milepost 20 in the bush past the summit of the Malahat. Facilities included just this wooden platform and an open wooden shelter. One reason for the demise of this tourist operation was the lack if scenery riders experienced as most of the views were of Vancouver Island's trees. Many along the right-of-way were cut down to improve the view from the train but this only served to anger local citizens.
