The top photo shows the original wood trestle at Six Mile dated 1888. Photo two shows the old girder bridge with the new bridge under construction next to it on a new alignment. In the lower photo this second smaller bridge was constructed over Brydon Road just west of the larger Six Mile bridge. The photo shows the first VIA Rail train enroute to Victoria crossing after the Six Mile and Brydon bridges completion.
